We are delighted to use Stringjoy strings, made in Nashville, Tennessee. You can read all about them at the Stringjoy website, suffice to say that Dan and I are big fans of their feel, tone, consistency and longevity.
I was experimenting with some different brands and gauges during 2023 because I wanted to go a tiny bit lighter for tone, but retain a positive feel so I wasn't overbending and pulling chords out of tune. The search stopped right here! I use the same gauge on both Gibson and Fender guitars.
