Goodwood Audio Ext Switch - Vertical

External switches (or Aux / Auxiliary Switches) are compatible with certain guitar pedals and allow additional control over that guitar pedal.  

The most common units we use these for at Goodwood are the RJM Mastermind Products (The RJM PBC6X, PBC10, GT and LT), Fractal, Line 6 and many more.  These External Switches allow you to add 2 more footswitches to the RJM line and program them however you want simply by connecting them with a TRS cable! 

 

Is your guitar pedal compatible with these switches? 

Check your manual! These are normally open momentary switches that close the switch upon pressing.

One switch connects sleeve and tip, the other connects sleeve and ring

No diodes or resistors are used with these switches. 

Vertical and Horizontal Mini External Switches

These switches are ideal to use when space saving is the main concern! These two switches are effectively identical other than orientation.  One switch is engraved to be placed horizontally on your pedalboard, the vertical switch is (wait for it) designed to be installed vertically on your pedalboard! 

There is no input section on these switches either.  Just the TRS External / Aux switch.
